Finchley Dog Walker is Three
It’s been three years since I made the life changing decision to come away from the office having worked in security and then web design, and turn my love of dogs and the outdoors into my career. It’s a decision I don’t regret for a moment. The friends I have made, whether on 2 or 4 legs, have been wonderful. The places I have been, the memories I have and the positive changes I have made to lives of dogs are something that I will treasure forever.
Setting up Finchley Dog Walker a london based dog walker company was a little daunting. I believe my success in making it to the three-year mark is down to dedication, passion and a genuine love of dogs I have (I have had my own dogs for thity years). I made sure I was trained and able to keep all dogs protected from any eventualities, I underwent courses, exams and put in a lot of research to make sure that the services I provide are faultless. I ensured I was CRB checked, first aid trained, I have insurance and I’m also registered with NARPS UK for people to feel confident and safe with my services. I wanted to make sure my business ticked all the boxes that people want when they’re looking for additional help with their dogs and not just be “another dog walker”. I think I have created services that are beneficial to every aspect of dog ownership, from puppy training to dog walking and Doggy Babysitting.
My aim has never altered, and this is for dogs to have as much fun as I do! I achieve this time and time again by building up a solid relationship, training, exploring and playing – it’s a wonder what adventures are lurking just on your doorstep. I have always believed that a well-stimulated dog is a happy one, and the reward I get from seeing the excited tail wags, yaps and licks as I approach my charges is something that will always mean the world to me.
Many of my clients dogs now have been with me since they were mere babies and to watch them grow and develop their personalities makes me feel proud as well as honoured to have been a part of it. I’ve a love of all breeds and unlike many other dog walkers, I never discriminate. People can come to be with any breed of dog (even ones that are reactive) and will never be turned away as I will tailor my bespoke dog walkign service to their needs. I’ve seen dog’s transform from damaged, aggressive and frightened rescue dog’s blossom into the most friendly, happy, satisfied dog you could meet. It’s this satisfaction that keeps me going, and reminds me why I left the office three years ago.
So to all my supporters, customers and friends, I thank you! Here’s to the next 3!
